colors still subject to change, will probably use canson paper for the laser-cut type on the vellum layer. lettering in background is just to simulate end result, final will be more intergrated. planning to illustrate with silver and white colored pencil on black foamcore which will be muted to gray through vellum layer.

More sketching, considering color.
Piece will be large, not sure on measurements yet. Two layers.
Considering writing entire manifesto by hand will illustrations on first layer. Second layer is a vellum overlay with laser-cut colored paper typography. Fading out the bullshit to get to the core message. Viewers can lift vellum layer to view/read entire manifesto at their leisure.
Final piece will be layered and textural.
Due to time constraints, may need to laser-cut bristol board and spray paint for color/texture.

Left: Projected type. Right: Printed piece.
Rough sketch, work in progress.
Digital text scrolling through a million different words and phrases, seemingly endless - My entire obsessive manifesto. Displaying how useless it is to define everything you believe in when all it comes down to is one thing: Don’t make a big deal about it. It’s just about making stuff and being honest.
